We recently got a call from a customer in Prior Lake, MN, whose AWD vehicle broke down on a parking ramp. These jobs are tricky because of low clearance and the fact that all-wheel-drive vehicles can't be towed with two wheels on the ground without risking serious damage. To solve this, we used our wheel lift and dolly system. This setup allowed us to lift all four tires off the ground while staying well under the ramp's height restrictions. With winter weather rolling into Minnesota, our customer wanted to make sure his freshly restored 1966 Dodge made it home safely from the shop in Lakeville to his garage in Zumbrota. Classic cars deserve classic care, so we approached this transport with precision from start to finish. Our driver used a rollback flatbed equipped with extended ramps to ensure a gentle loading angle—no rubbing, no scraping, no stress on the vehicle. Once positioned, the Dodge was secured using soft‑strap tie‑downs only. Not a single chain touched the car, preserving every inch of its restoration. The result: a flawless, worry‑free delivery, placed directly into the owner’s home garage exactly as it left the shop.
